memories.....
As the first anniversary of Kerry's death approached, I asked my family to please write a memory of Kerry for me.  The task proved too difficult for some but Mary, being the true angle she is, wrote these words.  I will cheerish her memories forever.

Kerry Memories:

You asked for a memory and I often explore my thoughts of Kerry - especially this week.

I remember Kerry as the most beautiful boy I have ever seen.  I remember loving him from the moment I saw him.  Kerry liked Pearl Jam and so did I.  That was the only good CD Jess and Jay had.

I loved the road trips Kerry and me took.  I loved being the passenger.  I loved having no certain destination.  We went to woodstock, Vermont and Woodstock, New York in one trip or was it two?

Kerry loved his music and he had just got his workman's comp check and came to PA - got a hotel room - and about 20 CD's.  He loved vanilla milkshakes.

Kerry loved Jackson Basil.  My most vivid memory of them is Kerry singing to Jackson to try to get him to sleep singing "Good night sweet baby JB!" and then Kerry would wind the music box.

Kerry did so much for Jackson and expecially me.  He would drive after a very long double shift to PA so we could be together.  It seems that Kerry and me wanted to be together for so long but we had these "things" which prevented it and when we FINALLY were together - it was not forever like he promised me.  I always made him promise.  I always made him say "forever".  I just wanted forever with him.  That was all.  It is still hard.  When something was so hard to have and you finally get it and then its gone too soon - too prematurely.  We didn't even get to have our wedding.

But Kerry couldn't decide if he wanted a big wedding or just a few people - he wasn't sure.  We had talked about it right before he died.

Kerry wanted 10 kids.  He liked the names:
William Magann "Will", Saylor Isabel Magann, "Isabella", Hunter.
We went bowling and he said if he made the strike - it would be Hunter - well, he made it.  He got Jackson like he wanted.
